One wounded in another Chicago expressway shooting

A 19-year-old man was shot early Sunday while riding in a vehicle on the Eisenhower Expressway on the Near West Side.

About 2:15 a.m., the man was a passenger in a vehicle with two other occupants heading westbound on I-290 near Racine Avenue when a dark colored vehicle pulled up next to them, according to Illinois State Police. Someone inside the vehicle fired several shots, striking the man once in the leg.
The victim was taken to a nearby hospital where his condition was stabilized.
