(Video) O'Reilly on illegals voting

Fox News' Bill O'Reilly lays out the case that it's pretty darn easy for illegal aliens to vote in states such as California--where Hillary Clinton won by a huge margin over Donald Trump, People who have a driver's license are automatically registered to vote there and in eleven other states.

Trump, unlike Obama, can claim that he saved jobs

White River in Indianapolis
After the passing of Barack Obama's $800 billion stimulus bill in 2009, which turned out to be not much more than a massive pork barrel project, Obama would tout a heretofore unheard of figure, "saved or created jobs."

Like myself, many other wise people concluded that there was no way to measure a "saved job."

But there is a new sheriff in town, Donald J. Trump. Clearly he saved 1,000 jobs that were headed to Mexico.

From the Indianapolis Star:
About 1,400 Indianapolis workers who've spent months grieving the impending loss of of their high-wage manufacturing jobs received a shocking dose of hope Tuesday as the incoming Trump administration scored its first major victory.

Their jobs might be saved.

Carrier Corp. has reached an agreement with President-elect Donald Trump to keep "close to 1,000 jobs" in the city, scrapping a plan to shift all of its Indianapolis operations to Mexico. The heating and air conditioning giant confirmed the agreement on Twitter, but did not provide details.

Trump and Vice President-elect Mike Pence are scheduled to appear in the city Thursday for a formal announcement, according to a transition official who requested anonymity.

(Video) Hannity's message to the press: You've been exposed as fake

As with myself, Sean Hannity is not letting up on blatant media bias even though the election is over.

Their candidate, Hillary Clinton, lost. And the media dinosaurs are still angry. But thanks to WikiLeaks we know that the mainstream media is corrupt and they are colluders.

Nasty Sun-Times columnist Steinberg pens another Nazi-themed Trump column

Chicago Sun-Times offices
If you want to see evidence of a mind that may be disintegrating then I recommend that you take a look at some recent columns by Neil Steinberg of the Chicago Sun-Times. He's angry that Donald Trump is president-elect. I was disappointed in 2012 when Mitt Romney lost to Barack Obama, but I was not angry because we live in a democracy. The people--and the Electoral College--spoke. Romney's loss hurt--but I moved on.

As I remarked in my post earlier this month at Da Tech Guy, smartly titled "Media insanity over Trump win continues," Steinberg penned what I called "A Nazi-drenched column." Judge for yourself on it.

A few days later in a column about Muslims and Trump he wrote, "I won't bore you with the math, but the odds of a gun owner killing someone — typically himself — with one of his guns is far greater than the odds a Muslim will ever be involved with an act of terror." Up to a point Steinberg is correct. But on the other hand does anyone seriously believe that ISIS, if it acquired a nuclear weapon, wouldn't hesitate to detonate it over Tel Aviv? Or Chicago? Barack Obama's hometown is on pace to exceed 800 murders this year--a nuke exploded in Chicago would kills hundreds of thousands of people, maybe more.

Nearly 3,000 people were killed in just two hours on 9/11.

Yes, I know. The overwhelming majority of Muslims are not terrorists.

In his Tuesday column Steinberg reapplies the Hitler mustache on Trump's visage.
For instance: eliminating the DREAM Act, which President-elect Donald Trump has vowed to do on his first day as president — Jan. 21, for those keeping track. That would keep up to 5 million young Americans off the path to success, in school and employment, for a very Third Reich reason: because their papers aren't in order. It will, of course, hurt them, making their lives harder, more complicated, more anxious. It would also hurt the country. A country which, contrary to the bigot's skewed perspective, is not burdened by foreigners but benefits from them. A country that needs every capable person it can get its hands on. Otherwise we end up like Japan, in a demographic death spiral.
Hey Steinberg! America is a nation of laws. The DREAMers, although they were children when they came here, entered the United States illegally. Their parents committed crimes by either also entering our nation illegally or overstaying their visas.

I know some DREAMers--I sympathize with them. But life isn't always fair. And maybe yes, the immigration laws involving these DREAMers--many of whom, perhaps most of them, are decent people living productive lives--are bad laws. Steinberg's locker room pal Obama had eight years to come of up legislation to address their plight. But he didn't--even when he had a Democratic Congress. The cure for bad laws is better laws. But Obama chose the seemingly easy route, the coward's way, by using an executive order to seemingly protect those DREAMers. Lawmaking, as Otto von Bismarck famously quipped, may be akin to sausage-making, and not in a pleasant way, but at least it's a group effort.

Oh, the DREAM Act isn't really law of course, and yes, Trump can repeal it as soon he's president. Which he'll likely do. But if Dear Leader and his allies had fashioned a bill that Congress passed and he signed into law, Trump and the Republicans would have a much more difficult time repealing it. In fact, with the slim GOP majority in the new Senate, my guess is that an-anti-DREAM bill would have been dead-on-arrival there.

Back to Steinberg. Trump is not Hitler and America is not Nazi Germany. Stop it with the Third Reich references.

If you think I'm being overly harsh with this liberal, I'm not. He's a classic bully. For years at the Chicago Reader, under the pseudonym Ed Gold, he authored the Bob Watch column about Chicago Tribune columnist Bob Greene, whose newspaper career ended badly, and deservedly so. Greene was washed up by the time Steinberg/Gold began belittling him, and Greene should have thrown in the towel years earlier. Bob Watch ended up as a weekly exercise in cruelty. And Steinberg wouldn't even use his real name in these attacks.

Here's another bullying Steinberg episode: a domestic battery arrest.

You want to learn more about Steinberg? Then read what my good friend Warner Todd Huston said about him in 2010: Top Ten most Left-Biased American Journalists: #10 – Neil Steinberg, Chicago Sun-Times.

But Steinberg has moved on from being a biased and nasty liberal to become a nutty one as well.

(Video) Texas Gov Abbott says he will sign bill that will ban sanctuary cities

While on Fox and Friends this morning Governor Greg Abbott (R-TX) says he will sign a bill that will ban sanctuary cities in the Lone Star State.

But prior to getting to the point, Abbott discusses the barbaric machete attack at Ohio State, adding such brutality would be much less likely in Texas as students over the age of 21 can openly carry guns.

In August Trump was called racist for terror fears about Somalis

Do you still have questions as for why Donald Trump is the president-elect?

From the Daily Caller:
More than once during his presidential campaign, Donald Trump warned about the threat posed by improperly vetted Somali refugees only to be called insensitive and racist for raising the issue.

Trump and Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton clashed repeatedly on the issue of refugees throughout the election cycle. While Trump promised to suspend the influx of refugees due to security concerns, Clinton called for an increase in refugees brought to the U.S.

While much of the refugee debate focused on those coming from Syria, Trump did highlight the risks associated with Somali refugees in states like Maine and Minnesota, which have received high numbers of displaced Somalians.

Speaking a rally in Maine last August, Trump warned that Somali refugees provide a "rich pool of potential recruiting targets for Islamist terror groups." FBI Director James Comey has issued similar warnings.

"I always said if you hate someone, if you really despise someone," said Carlson, who has supervised 80 reporters, :if you consider him beyond the pale, you're now allowed to cover him."

The Times and many other media outlets forgot that common sense guideline when they covered the 2016 presidential campaign.

Chiraq man beaten to death with a bottle

Englewood
If all of the guns are rounded up in Chicago and melted down to build a Barack Obama statue there will still be murders there. Tonight a 41-year-old man was beaten to death in Englewood on the South Side with a bottle.

Yep, a bottle.

Cop kills Somali immigrant who injured 11 in brutal Ohio State attack

So far no one is saying how this creep got into this country. But incidents such as this one are part of the reason why Donald Trump is the president-elect.

The most basic duty of any responsible government is to protect its citizens.

From the Cincinnati Enquirer:
An Ohio State University student plowed his car into a crowd of fellow students and teachers Monday morning, dashed onto the sidewalk with a butcher's knife and began stabbing passersby.

It took Abdul Razak Ali Artan little more than two minutes to injure 11 people before a campus police officer shot him to death, authorities said.

It's likely to take much longer, they said, to explain why a 20-year-old Somali immigrant who just enrolled at Ohio State committed such a violent act.

"It's an ongoing investigation to determine motive," said Ohio State Police Chief Craig Stone.
But later in the same article the maniac is quoted from a student newspaper that he was afraid to pray in the open at OSU.

I find it hard to believe that Artan would have been harassed if he did pray at that college. Really, I do. There were a couple dozen of hijab-clad graduates at my daughter's high school two states to the right of Ohio. She says they were never taunted about their garb. Despite what the mainstream media tells you, America is not a nation dominated by bigots.

Was Artan and his family thoroughly vetted for terror ties when they entered the United States?

Chiraq: Over 3 times more Thanksgiving weekend shootings this year

Thanksgiving weekend in Chicago was exceptionally bloody. Nine people were shot to death over the long weekend and at least 61 others were wounded. Over the same period last year eight people were killed but just 20 wounded.

Earlier this month another grim Chiraq milestone was passed--the city's 4,000th shooting. Over 700 people have been murdered in 2016 in Chicago, just 447 were last year.

Flashback: Obama encouraged illegals to vote, promised no repercussions

The anti-Donald Trump media is having a fit because President-elect Donald Trump tweeted that "millions" of voted illegally in the general election. Many almost certainly did, including illegal aliens.

Why do I say that? Well before Election Day Barack Obama urged illegals to vote. Voting when you are not an American citizen is against the law, presumably Obama knows that, but if they are Democrats he is willing to look the other way.

Here's your proof.

(Apple commercial) Deplorable Trump voter enters a city

In this moving Apple Christmas commercial, a Frankenstein-like Donald Trump voter ventures out of the wilderness and enters a city, where he discovers that the terrified liberals don't know what to make of him. But quickly they learn that this "deplorable" is a decent human being. He's not a racist, bigot, or a caveman.

Open your heart to everyone.

Merry Christmas.

Maddow's October Electoral College map makes her look sillier than usual

Watch as MSNBC's Rachel Maddow smugly explain to her hundreds of viewers three weeks before Election Day how the electoral map was shifting towards Hillary Clinton. Several of what she deemed toss-up states ended up going with Donald Trump. Maddow fawned on how Kansas and South Carolina were viewed as "Lean Republican" instead of "Likely Republican," Trump won both states by double digits.

And Maddow says "No one wins all of the toss-up states." Well, of the five toss-ups on her October map, Trump won four of them, as well as the one electoral vote from Maine's 2nd congressional district, which the leftist had in her toss-up column too. The president elect also won some of those "Lean Democratic" Maddow states.Which is why Trump is president-elect, not Clinton.

Little Havana in Miami celebrates Castro's death

Castro was a killer and a tyrant.

From ABC:
For more than five decades, Florida has been the first place that Cubans would touch down when fleeing their country.

Last night, thousands of men and women of Cuban descent poured into the streets of Miami's Little Havana to celebrate Fidel Castro's death.

On Calle Ocho, the main thoroughfare of Little Havana, people waved Cuban flags in the air, banged on pots with spoons, and fireworks exploded in the air. The joy of these revelers illustrated the disdain they had for the late communist leader.

"Cuba si! Castro no!" some chanted, while others screamed "Cuba libre!"

The Brady Bunch Variety Hour: Stars Medley

This week Florence Henderson, the beloved Carol Brady of the Brady Bunch, passed away at 82. But before she was America's mom, Henderson was a solid Broadway musical talent.

Nearly forgotten, and that might not be a bad thing, from the Brady franchise was their Brady Bunch Variety Hour from the late 1970s. It was awful, although Henderson, and to a lesser extent Greg (Barry Williams), Marcia (Maureen McCormick), and "Fake Jan," Geri Reischl, were quite good as they worked their way through show tunes.

Here's the "Stars Medley" from the Variety Hour. Watch as Mike Brady (Robert Reed) embarrasses himself. And you'll see Alice (Ann B. Davis) with, gasp, Rip Taylor as her boyfriend. What happened to Sam the Butcher (Allan Melvin)? We all know that he "delivered the meat." They were perfect for reach other. Such a shame.

Best of all, though is the conga line with Carol Brady, Milton Berle, and yes, Tina Turner.

File this video under it's-so-bad-it's-a-work-of-genius.

Longtime Cuban dictator Castro dead

Fidel Castro, the Cuban communist dictator who seized power in 1959 in a revolution, is dead at 90. Cuba, prior to Castro was a kleptocracy, yet the island nation had one of the highest standards of living in the western hemisphere.

Now Cuba, which has political prisoners, has one of the lowest.

May Cuba be free soon. It is free of Fidel Castro, but his brother, Raul, has been dictator for a decade.

Obamas bailing on Chicago, moving to California

Obamas' Chicago mansion in 2008
The soon-to-be former First Family will not be moving back to Chicago after Donald J. Trump is handed the keys to the White House.

I guess that Chicago's out-of-control taxes, an unsustainable pension debt, and its soaring murder rate is too much even for these leftists to handle. The rest of the state isn't much better, it's generally safe, there is a lid for now on the state income tax--only because of a Republican governor--but the unfulfilled pension obligations are just an onerous.

From Harper's Bazaar:
The Obamas are reportedly moving to California. Despite renting this family home in Washington DC from [sic] January, they are said to have purchased a new house in Rancho Mirage, a city located just outside Palm Springs in California, according to The New York Post.

Rancho Mirage is home to the presidential getaway Sunnylands – said to be the West Coast version of Camp David – meaning that family have probably visited plenty of times and that's why they have decided to settle there.
Barack, Michelle and family will state in DC for a bit--until Sasha graduates from high school. Which means it's very likely that their mansion, purchased with the assistance of convicted felon, Tony Rezko, will be on the market soon.

Gohmert on big city mayors defying Trump and law on illegal immigration

US Rep. Louis Gohmert (R-TX) discusses "sanctuary cities" and explains while yes, Congress does authorize federal spending, but the incoming Trump administration will have plenty of discretion in cutting off cash directed to them.

#Chiraq: 8 people shot in first 10 hours on Thanksgiving weekend

There's less to be thankful for in Chicago on Thanksgiving. In the first ten hours of the long holiday weekend eight people were shot.

Many arrested Portland anti-Trump rioters have criminal records

The Oregonian looked into the background of the 120 people arrested during the Portland anti-Donald Trump protests.
Of the people who were arrested, some have criminal histories. That includes convictions for misdemeanors such as shoplifting and drunken driving, but also felonies such as breaking into cars, burglary, assault or dealing methamphetamine.

For every arrested protester with a criminal history in Oregon, there are about five others without any convictions, a search through state court records indicates.

For many protesters, it was their first arrest, first time handcuffed, first trip to jail and first mugshot.

Some told The Oregonian/OregonLive that they were surprised that police detained them -- they just didn't believe officers would move in on them.
Surprised? You mean the Portland police didn't warn the alt-lefties beforehand? Do you mean that the rioters who blocked traffic--and committed worse crimes such as setting fires--were breaking the law?

Thanksgiving message from President-elect Donald J. Trump

In eight years as president Barack Obama never said anything remotely close to this statement, "We are very blessed to call this nation our home." But President-elect Donald J. Trump did in his first Thanksgiving address.

"It is my prayer, that on this Thanksgiving, we begin to heal our divisions and move forward as one country, strengthened by a shared purpose and very, very common resolve," Trump added.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Clinton Foundation donors running away from the slush fund

By the end of the general election campaign season even the anti-Donald Trump media stopped defending the Clinton Foundation. The so-called "charity" was always a slush fund and an influence peddling operation.

From the New York Observer:
Clinton Foundation scandals emerged as a major blow to Hillary Clinton's campaign this past election, as emails released by WikiLeaks and from FOIA requests revealed pay-to-play schemes and overt conflicts of interest between the Foundation and Clinton's State Department. Though the Clintons and their supporters staunchly defended the Foundation, pointing to the charitable work it produced to defend any criticisms, such claims of corruption were proven correct.

It now appears that Norway, one of the most prolific foreign Clinton Foundation donors, is decreasing its annual donation from $20 million in 2015 to $4.2 million this year—a significant drop suggesting the foreign government had expected to receive benefits in return for its generous donation. Norway's move also provides further evidence that the Foundation serves more as a front to sell access to the Clintons than as an organization focused on philanthropy. While the Foundation may have conducted some charitable work, its greater purpose has always been to boost the Clinton brand, market the Clintons on the highly paid speech circuit, and offer donors access to the Clintons and their prolific network of elite and corporate connections.

In 2015, IBTimes conducted an investigative report revealing foreign governments who gave large contributions to the Clinton Foundation—including Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Algeria, Oman, UAE and Bahrain—received exponential increases in U.S. weapons exports from the State Department while Hillary Clinton served as secretary of state.

"Because neither Clinton will occupy a prominent role in government in the immediate future—curtailing the willingness of at least some big donors to try and curry favor with the foundation by writing large checks," reported CNBC on November 19. “Because Hillary Clinton is no longer seen as a president in waiting, contributors may look elsewhere and the foundation may have to rethink its scope and priorities,” philanthropy experts told CNBC. The Clinton Foundation refused to respond to numerous requests from CNBC for comment.
I wonder if any of these governments will demand a refund?

Leftists plan to disrupt Chicago Black Friday shopping again

The Mr. Burns from the Simpsons in me is screaming, "Release the hounds!"

From Crains Chicago Business:
For the second year in a row, protesters are planning to block shoppers from entering stores along North Michigan Avenue on the day after Thanksgiving, the busiest shopping day of the year.

The effort, planned by a diffuse network that includes Black Lives Matter, the Chicago Alliance Against Racist and Political Repression and area churches, seeks to draw attention to a wide range of issues, including police shootings, racism and economic inequalities that keep Chicago's South and West sides mired in poverty and violence.

The organizers say they hope this year's turnout will be larger than last year's, when hundreds of people temporarily obstructed access to retailers along Chicago's most famous shopping strip and cost some stores a reported 50 percent of their sales on Black Friday.

"We're expecting a bigger turnout this year, though this is not an exact science," one of the self-identified organizers, Frank Chapman, a field organizer with the Alliance Against Racist and Political Repression, told Crain's. "The reason we're looking for a bigger turnout is that Trump is the president-elect and, boy, are people pissed."
Chicago's Trump Tower, pictured above with your beloved Blogger Laureate of Illinois, is just a couple of blocks from the southern end of the North Michigan shopping strip. Expect a lot of action there too.

It will be interesting to see that these radicals will be protesting, but in my opinion it will be America. The leftist scrum you see screaming on TV are the same folks you saw with Occupy, with Black Lives Matter, and now, whining about our president-elect.

Next year it will be ostensibly something else.

Oh, if you were planning to shop on North Michigan Avenue on Black Friday, I have a better idea. Just click on the below Amazon link and start clicking. You needn't worry about cold weather or angry leftists. Shopping by way of Marathon Pundit costs you nothing extra and I gain a tiny commission.

Cops blame #DAPL protesters for injury that may cost woman her arm

The Dakota Access Pipeline protests in North Dakota have reached a new, unfortunate level.

From the Guardian:
Sophia Wilansky, an environmental activist from New York, was hospitalized in Minneapolis where surgeons are attempting to repair a severe injury to her left arm that destroyed arteries, nerves, muscle, soft tissue and bone, according to her father. She remains at risk of amputation, and if the arm is salvaged, it will probably have very limited functionality.

Wayne Wilansky, her father, contends that the injury was caused by an exploding concussion grenade thrown by law enforcement, who also deployed teargas, rubber bullets and a water cannon on protesters during a tense standoff on a bridge Sunday night.

But North Dakota law enforcement officers have aggressively countered Wilansky’s account, releasing multiple statements accusing protesters of setting off an explosion.

Lieutenant Tom Iverson of the North Dakota highway patrol said that two men and a woman were standing near a burned vehicle on the bridge around 3am when "it became obvious that they were tampering with the vehicle or planting a device." The highway patrol said the explosion occurred after other protesters rolled "metallic cylinder objects" toward the three near the car, and that the female protester was pulled from under the vehicle before the group "fled the scene."
Some of the Standing Rock Sioux want the protesters to go home.

From CNN last month:
No one makes this clearer than Robert Fool Bear Sr., 54, district chairman of Cannon Ball. The town he runs, estimated population of 840, is just a few miles from the action. It's so close that, given the faceoffs with law enforcement, you have to pass through a police checkpoint to reach it.

It's about time people heard from folks like him, he says.

Fool Bear has had it with the protesters. He says that more than two years ago, when members of the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe could have attended hearings to make their concerns known, they didn't care. Now, suddenly, the crowds are out of control, and he fears it's just a matter of time before someone gets seriously hurt. [Emphasis mine.]

Go down to the camps, he says, and you won't see many Standing Rock Sioux.
Winters are brutal in North Dakota, mother nature should solve the problem of these out of control protesters very soon.

Haley to be UN ambassador

Democrats and the few #NeverTrumpers left have complained that none of President-elect Donald Trump's appointments have been white males. Well they can calm down, this morning Trump announced that Nikki Haley, the governor of South Carolina, whose parents emigrated to America from India. Haley was a frequent critic of Trump during the long presidential campaign, so it's clear that the political newcomer is not only looking to hire sycophants.

(Video) Trump outlines first 100 days

President-elect Donald J. Trump discussed his plans for his first 100 days in office in a YouTube video released yesterday.

"My agenda will be based on a simple core principle--putting America first."

Trump plans to enact lobbying restrictions, cut back on energy regulations, bolstering defense, and taking a close look at visa restrictions.

Trump and GOP plan to make it easier to punish and fire federal workers.

If Trump pushed fighting government sinecures harder he might have won a couple of more states.

From the Washington Post:
President-elect Donald Trump and the Republican-controlled Congress are drawing up plans to take on the government bureaucracy they have long railed against, by eroding job protections and grinding down benefits that federal workers have received for a generation.

Hiring freezes, an end to automatic raises, a green light to fire poor performers, a ban on union business on the government's dime and less generous pensions — these are the contours of the blueprint emerging under Republican control of Washington in January.

These changes were once unthinkable to federal employees, their unions and their supporters in Congress. But Trump's election as an outsider promising to shake up a system he told voters is awash in "waste, fraud and abuse" has conservatives optimistic that they could do now what Republicans have been unable to do in the 133 years since the modern civil service was created.
In other words, if you are a federal worker and you watch porn on government computers, you might actually get fired.

It's time to Make America Great Again.

Dem congressman, whose grandson was murdered over weekend, wants to work with Trump on violence

US Rep. Danny K. Davis' grandson was murdered in Chicago's infamous Englewood neighborhood over the weekend in a dispute over gym shoes. Clearly Davis is going through a difficult time but he's thinking about his constituents and other Chicagoans is a positive way.

From NBC Chicago's Ward Room:
Following the fatal shooting of his 14-year-old grandson, U.S. Rep. Danny Davis said he hopes to work with President-elect Donald Trump to address Chicago's violence.

In an exclusive interview with Ward Room on Monday, Davis said he was encouraged to hear Trump cite Chicago as an "example of need" throughout the campaign. He also lauded former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich's response to his grandson's killing. Gingrich, one of Trump’s top advisors, pushed for a "federal strategy to save lives" in Chicago on Twitter Saturday.

"For me, those are heartwarming comments," Davis said, while acknowledging that other cities like Milwaukee are also in need of additional resources to fight crime. "Especially given the fact that both of them seem to recognize that Chicago does have some special needs and that communities throughout America, such as the inner-city areas that we're talking about, have special needs. And I hope that means that there will be some special focus put on those areas and the needs that they have."
Davis has an open mind. I wish the full-time protesters who march against Trump had an open mind too. In two months Trump will be president of all Americans.

Chiraq: 9 dead and at least 19 wounded over weekend

Abandoned home, Englewood
The first blast of cold weather in months may have led to there being fewer shootings over the weekend, but fatalities were at their usual level. Nine people were murdered over the weekend, including the grandson of US Rep. Danny K. Davis, and at least 19 others were wounded.

Javon Wilson, 14, Davis' grandson, was shot to death inside his Englewood home during an argument over gym shoes.

Of the other homicides three occurred in normally quiet areas, East Side, Wicker Park, and West Rogers Park.

Unhinged: Howard Dean calls Bannon a Nazi

The Left continues to self-destruct over the election of Donald Trump as president. Earlier today on a Canadian TV network Democratic chairman, Vermont governor, and presidential candidate Howard Dean called top Trump advisor Steven Bannon "a Nazi," Joel Pollak reports on Breitbart.

Bannon is not an anti-Semite or a racist. Liberals still can't explain why Hillary Clinton lost two weeks ago, here are a few hints: She was a uninspiring, scandal-plagued candidate who never said why she wanted to be president; the former secretary of state was unable to articulate why her policies, which would be a continuation of the Obama legacy, would improve a majority of American lives. So progs are now peddling the Bannon-is-a-racist canard, which means of course that Trump must be one too.

Accusing an opponent of being a racist is the last refuge of a leftist.

As for Dean, he can't be laughed off or dismissed as a has-been. The alt-left that coalesced around Barack Obama in 2008 first believed Dean was their champion four years earlier. And he's in the running to be DNC chair again.

Dean is the Democratic Party.

Two teens held in murder of Danny Davis' grandson

On Friday there was another senseless murder in Chicago, in this outrage two teens were arrested for the killing of a 15-year-old, Javon Wilson, over a pair of gym shoes. What makes this barbarity, which occurred in the notorious Englewood neighborhood, more newsworthy than other Chiraq homicides is that Wilson was the grandson of US Rep Danny K. Davis (D-IL).

While I've been a rare yet harsh critic of Davis, he and his family will be in my prayers.

Black woman blames white women for Hillary losing

The mainstream media continues its mental collapse. Rather than blaming Hillary Clinton's defeat on herself, her plethora of scandals, the growing unpopularity of ObamaCare, and the populist revolt against globalism, to name a few, Chicago Tribune columnist Dahleen Glanton, an African American, says it's the fault of white women that Clinton lost.

Oh, here's another reason Donald Trump will be moving into the White House next year--the Democrats' obsession with identity politics, rather than creating policies that voters believe will benefit their lives.

Folks, this ain't that hard. But like deluded cult members, Democrats refuse to admit the errors of their ways.

The Kinks: "Misfits" live

Four years and two days ago I was depressed after Mitt Romney's defeat in the presidential election and as a reflection of my mood at that time I posted a video of the Kinks performing "Misfits."

These lyrics hit home for me.
You say your summer has gone
Now the winter is crawlin' in
They say that even in your day
Somehow you never could quite fit in
Though it's cold outside
I know the summer's gonna come again
Because you know what they say
Every dog has his day
Well, this dog is having his day now and summer is back. Donald J. Trump is president elect.

This stanza seems prescient of the Trump silent majority, especially when you think of how the mainstream media and the other elitists look at "the Forgotten Man."
Look at all the losers and the mad eyed gazers
Look at all the loonies and the sad eyed failures
They're giving up living 'cause they just don't care
So take a good look around
The misfits are everywhere
Here is "Misfits" again, albeit from a different concert.

We're not misfits anymore.

Liberal goons harassing Republican Electoral College members

I am certain that had the circumstances been reversed--Trump winning the popular vote and Clinton winning in the Electoral College, such goonery would not be occurring.

From the Daily Mail:
Electoral College voters across the country are being harassed by Hillary Clinton supporters, in a last-ditch effort to prevent the Trump presidency.

In the U.S., presidents are elected by the Electoral College - not by popular vote. In most states, electors must cast a vote for the winner of their state's popular vote. But some states - like Arizona, Idaho, Michigan and Georgia - don't have a rule against electors going rogue and voting for another candidate.

So Clinton supporters have been harassing electors in the 21 states with no rules against these so-called 'faithless electors' - urging them not to vote for Trump when they officially cast their ballots on December 19.

In Arizona, electors have been hit with a barrage of emails and phone calls from unhappy citizens - most of them from out of state.

Chiraq: Four thugs charged in beating of man they taunted as a Trump voter

Abandoned home in
North Lawndale
Last week a man was beaten by four thugs in a car jacking incident in Chicago's notoriously violent North Lawndale neighborhood because they said he voted for Donald Trump. He did, but there was no way the attackers could have known that, the victim later said.

From the Chicago Sun-Times:
Julian Christian, 26, of the 2500 block of South 14th Avenue in Broadview; Dejuan Collins, 20, of the 9500 block of South Avalon; Rajane Lewis, 21, of the 7800 block of South Euclid; and a 17-year-old girl were each charged with a felony count of vehicular hijacking in connection with the incident, police said Friday.

The four were taken into custody Thursday, police said.

At least three males can be seen in the YouTube video repeatedly punching and kicking a man in a blue sweatshirt. In the background, a man and woman can be heard yelling.

"You voted Trump?" they ask, laughing. Then: "Don't vote Trump!"
I'm still waiting for the liberal elite to denounce this thuggery.

Pollak asked Lemon to "name one white nationalist piece" article on Breitbart.

He couldn't.

Dishonest and Trump-hating media can't change

In the last week the mainstream media, who peddled false narrative after false narrative about Donald Trump during the presidential campaign, can't break its bad habits. The crooked media is reporting that top Trump aide Stephen Bannon is an anti-Semite. He was a Hollywood producer for twenty years and no one complained about any bigoted views from Bannon. The Anti-Defamation League has backed away from criticism of him. The most serious charge of anti-Semitism comes from a divorce proceeding. No one ever lies in divorce proceedings, do they?

The media, some of whom colluded with the Democrats during the campaign, claims that Trump's transition team is in disarray. But Trump already has settled on his picks for attorney general, national security advisor, and CIA director. While Barack Obama didn't name his first cabinet selection until three weeks after defeating John McCain in 2008.

#TrumpSpring: Fewest weekly jobless claims since 1973

Yeah, yeah, I get it, Barack Obama is still president, but last week's victory by political newcomer Donald Trump is sending a positive message to businesses, the heavy-handed, regulations-heavy Obama economy will be in the rear view mirror very soon.

Trump Spring is here.

From Investor's Business Daily:
The U.S. economy got several positive signs Thursday, as a raft of reports showed jobless claims were down, new home construction reached a nine-year high, manufacturing activity stayed on the plus side and inflation seemed to be returning to normal levels.

Jobless Claims

The fewest Americans since 1973 filed for unemployment benefits last week, a sign that the U.S. labor market is getting tighter.

Jobless claims dropped by 19,000 to 235,000 in the week ended Nov. 12, which included the Veterans Day holiday, a Labor Department report showed Thursday in Washington. The median estimate in a Bloomberg survey called for 257,000. Continuing claims fell below 2 million to a 16-year low.
Of course for the most part the mainstream media is ignoring this story because it makes Trump look good.

Rahm's Chicago: Families pay $1700 more in taxes, mostly for city pensions

Blogger on site of his mother's
old Chicago home
Years ago Chicago Mayor Richard M. Daley made a deal with the devil, well not really, it was with public-sector union bosses, to hike the pensions of municipal workers. Daley, who chose not to run for reelection in 2011, is a Democrat and the government unions essentially lead the labor wing of the Democratic Party.

But the unions, who believed the promises of the politicians and Daley and the exclusively Democratic City Council, didn't fund those generous pension plans.

Now Chicago taxpayers, most of whom don't have their own pensions, have begun to bailout those plans. The city's bonds are already rated as junk.

From the Chicago Tribune:
Left unsaid during all of this optimism? The average family will pay nearly $1,700 more a year to the city and Chicago Public Schools than they did before the mayor took office in 2011 once all of Emanuel's tax and fee increases take full effect. There's been a series of property tax hikes. There was a water and sewer rate increase, plus a new tax on top of that. Not to mention a new garbage hauling fee, 911 phone tax hike, vehicle sticker fee increase and a tax on cable television.

Even with all of that, taxpayers may be asked for more money in the coming years. Emanuel's plans for shoring up long-neglected city worker pension funds will require the city to come up with hundreds of millions of dollars more by the early to mid-2020s.

"We shouldn't be running around giving high fives until we're clearly on a path to solvency," Ald. Scott Waguespack, 32nd, said after the budget vote.

Glossed over during what turned out to be just minutes of discussion on the budget Wednesday was that the $8.2 billion spending plan relies on one significant new tax to balance the books — a more than 30 percent charges on city sewer and water bills once fully phased in four years from now. The $239 million a year raised will go into the city's pension fund for municipal workers.
Meanwhile Chicago's infrastructure continues to crumble. You don't believe me? Take a drive--not on the expressways--in Chicago and find out for yourself. Of the roads I've been on, only Detroit's streets are in worse shape.

Decline and fall.

Illinois law needs to be changed so municipalities and government agencies can file for bankruptcy.

Jesse Jackson wants Obama to pardon Hillary

And while Obama has his pardon pen out, why doesn't he pardon Jesse Jackson's son Jesse Jr, and his daughter in-law, Sandi, both of who are ex-cons, as well as Noah Robinson, who is the leftist loudmouth's half-brother?

From the Detroit Free Press:
Speaking at President Gerald Ford's alma mater, The Rev. Jesse Jackson called for President Obama to issue a blanket pardon to Hillary Clinton before he leaves office, just like Ford did for Richard Nixon.

Stopping short of saying Clinton did anything wrong, Jackson told a large crowd of University of Michigan students, faculty and administrators gathered at daylong celebration of his career that Obama should short-circuit President-elect Donald Trump's promised attempt to prosecute Hillary Clinton for use of a private e-mail server.

"It would be a monumental moral mistake to pursue the indictment of Hillary Clinton," Jackson said. He said issuing the pardon could help heal the nation, like Ford's pardon of Nixon did.
While Nixon's campaigns practiced some shady fundraising tactics, Tricky Dick didn't put the country up for sale with a so-called charity as the Clintons did with their "charity," the Clinton Foundatin.

Draining the swamp: Trump White House proposes 5 year lobbying ban for top picks

Volo Bog, Illinois
The incoming Donald Trump administration clearly wants to keep its promise to Make America Great Again.

From CNN:
Two top Republicans working with President-elect Donald Trump's transition team told reporters in a phone call Wednesday evening that they're taking steps toward one of Trump's campaign promises -- to "drain the swamp" in Washington.

Trump communications director Jason Miller and Republican National Committee spokesman Sean Spicer announced anyone being vetted for a high post in the administration must provide a termination of lobbying form if they are a registered lobbyist.

In addition, when officials leave the government, they will be banned from being a lobbyist for five years as part of the agreement to serve in Trump's administration.
